On Eargasm (with JMs) and Scumbag Body Clock

Yeah, yeah... Been gone for so long and now I'm back with a vengeance. lol Not really. Back with a bit of headache from not being able to sleep because I've been messing up with my schedule so my body clock's messing up with me as well.

But right now I'm in the mood for sharing some of my favorite musicians. It's because of these guys why I'm still thankful for the existence of music. These days, many people mistaken music for bullshit. While there's nothing we can really do about other people's preference, I sure hope they don't try to sabotage the real wonders of real music. Now here are some of the real musicians (people who write their own sensible songs and perform their music from the heart, usually with instruments, without being annoying lol) for me:

Jason Mraz + James Morrison

Don't these guys have sexy voices and songs truly worth listening to? :)

Jon Mclaughlin

He's a real charmer; for me, that is. haha The voice, the piano, and the passion (and yeah, the appeal haha)... *awwww* :) I will always love Bruno Mars, but I'll never get tired of listening to Jon.

This one with Sara Bareilles, also a favorite artist, is one of my all-time heart-melting songs.

And in terms of bands, One Republic will always hit my heart's charts along with Lifehouse, Coldplay, The Fray and The Script. haha

But hey, who can ever beat the kind of eargasm the Queen can provide? lol I grew up listening to them because of my Uncle. Anyway, these guys are legends so any argument is invalid. haha

(I'm actually tempted to embed the Happy Feet version of Under Pressure. haha)

You Can If You Will :)

I thought I'm not in good shape to work today. Actually, I should be working at this time. But I just couldn't stop myself from starting up something I know I should've done a long time ago--writing stories from ideas that randomly comes up my mind. I have a lot of them, then and now. Sometimes I note them down, most of the time I rely on my sloppy memory hoping I could harvest or re-trace those ideas should the right moment comes. Now I realized I should 'act' as soon as I'm struck or overflowing with creative juices.

For now, I'll make some drafts of those stories which I'm hoping I could finish well. I don't aim for novels or whatnots; just stories good enough for sharing. Wish me luck! *fingers crossed* :D

Be Better, Not Bitter :)

Indeed, you're the only one who's going to suffer if you keep on sulking over trivial matters. So instead of allowing bitterness and loneliness take over your life, why don't you embrace the fact that nothing's ever going to change unless you do something to become a better person? This has been my preach to myself...

Now that it's a new year, we are all given a new chance to either start a new life or improve what we already have. I am quite certain that there are lots in store for each of us this new year. All we have to do is harness that latent drive to do better.

I have been feeling so down before 2012 ended. But this new year, I have firmly decided to make a difference. I know I can't do this on my own. I need God's grace, mercy and love. Nevertheless, I'm sure He will always provide.

Several painful events have made my heart more protective and cynical. Sure enough, I haven't moved on yet from some of those things which I never saw coming. But maybe I've become weaker or more comfortable with the fact that I have a lot of people who are so good to me. I have forgotten that people change, and that they will come and go. Even so, I will not lose faith in my being a people-person. Just lessen ties, maybe.

Now there are so many reasons for me to smile and be happy... so why would I continue to entertain negative vibes? This new year, I will surely be better. I hope the same goes for you all, especially for those who feel taken for granted. Be the change that you want to see in humanity.

12.25.2012

Happy Birthday, Jesus! Hello, Santa Claus! :D

“Never underestimate your power to change yourself; never overestimate your power to change others.”

May you all have a fulfilling Christmas, and a more blessed New Year :)

The Dangers Of Neglect

Nobody wants to be taken for granted. When you feel neglected, several other negative feelings tend to manifest. To be taken for granted by someone you love is just like as not being loved at all. Many people, especially children, who feel neglected have the tendency to either hurt themselves or others. A lot of dangers await those who feel disregarded, and to those who keep on ignoring the importance of anything or anyone.

These are my realizations upon watching these two films. I just stumbled them on youtube when boredom struck me and I wanted to watch something that has some decent, positive comments/feedback.

The Orphanage

I'm not really fond of horror movies; especially those psychological types (the ones that let your thoughts do the torture) because I'm actually good at scaring myself. This movie is one of those that you won't be able to forget easily.

The kid is so adorable, and there are some fascinating scenes that would make you forget it's a horror movie or something. Although you would have to rely on the subtitles because this is a Spanish movie (produced by Guillermo del Toro), you will surely have fun watching this if you're looking for a horror movie that does not rely on the frequent appearances of ghosts and jumpy moments or the distortion of the characters' faces but rather on the originality of the story and the way it tickles the brain.

The relevance of neglect? Watch and find out for yourself...

Doll Master

Now this has just made me all the more uninterested in dolls, particularly those bigger or life-size ones. It actually gave me a terrifyingly creepy feeling. The house full of dolls in this movie is not your ordinary doll house. I bet that even those who love Barbie would think twice in staying on that house. Everything's just disturbing! This is a Korean horror movie so expect some signature hair-related scary scenes.

The point is, even those lifeless things need some attention, particularly if you use them regularly or if you have been so fond of them--just like the dolls or the toys we cherished when we were just kids.

Neglect will eventually lead to regret, especially if it's already too late to make up for the times lost.

Open Happiness ^_^

Many people think that happiness is out of reach--something that we can't achieve all on our own. But for me, happiness is a state of mind. What you entertain inside your head will try to manifest in your words and actions. So if you think you're no good or you're being desperate, chances are, you really are or will be. So the same goes with the achievement of any sort of happiness. It's impossible for anyone not to feel any kind of happiness, especially that you can always be happy even with the simplest and smallest of things.

I realized that you don't have to be rich just to be able to help the poor, the sick or those who are in trouble. You can always help other people, make them smile and make them feel loved through many simple but sincere ways. And one of these days, I'll try to make lots of strangers smile. :) After all, Christmas is in the air.

As I was browsing facebook and youtube, I found several videos about Coca-cola; their advertisements and other forms of promotion that really captured my heart. Here's one that's very relevant for this season, and one that many people can relate to:

The forbidden food of the gods x_x

I hate chocolates--well, I wish I really do. But chocolates are amongst my weaknesses. I know I can live without it; but it's just too difficult for me not to have a bite of my favorite "comfort food". It has become a necessity, especially during my red tide. hahaha

I just love anything chocolatey. Who could blame me? Our entire family are chocolate-lovers; we all have a sweet tooth. But of course, I know that eating too much is no longer acceptable. And although I've been trying so hard to resist its temptations, I just can't say no to it when it's so available in the fridge.

Eating chocolates, or dark chocolates, has its own pros and cons. Many studies have proven its positive effects to our bodies. Moderate intake of dark chocolates or those that contain cocoa, and not sugar, offers a lot of benefits to the heart. As they say, dark chocolates have anti-oxidants and other properties that could help enhance the performance of our cardiovascular system. I even found a kind of diet that relies on the moderate intake of "real" chocolates. But it seems that such diet is not that effective.

Well, the reason why I'm writing about chocolates is that because we (my siblings and I) have been digging for sweets these days. But I'm really, really doing my best to ignore chocolates; especially now that I'm back to my jogging routines. :) Besides, I no longer want to experience that excruciating pain I get whenever my teeth hurts. And I'm really hoping that I will no longer lose a tooth this year and the next years to come.

Miniature Siberian Husky, I Choose You!

Chow chows are cuddly, poodles are eccentric, Shih Tzus are amusing and Chihuahuas are so cute. But I just can’t get enough of rough collies, any spitz, Japanese Chin and terriers. And if I can get the chance, I’d want to adopt an Alaskan Klee Kai or an American Akita. Oh, and that Australian Shepherd! :D

However, the dog breed that was really able to capture my heart (and had made me wish that our pet cat would be converted into such) is the “miniature” Siberian husky.

Ah, look at his eyes (though I’m not sure if the puppy’s a girl or boy LOL). But I prefer a male Miniature Siberian Husky puppy. If only I can have one *puppy eyes*…

This breed is often mistaken for the Alaskan Klee Kai; it’s no surprise why I like them both. And I can somehow see this breed’s resemblance to a cat; but of course, more of a wolf or fox. Or maybe my eyesight is just failing me.

One good thing about Miniature Siberian Huskies is that they grow up to be only around 15-25 lbs. Unlike standard-size dogs, they won’t become a hassle to your home. Although there are many other “small type” dog breeds, I still and would always want to choose a miniature version of a Siberian Husky.

P.S
I am actually a cat-lover. I find cats more convenient than large, loud dogs. However, I wouldn’t say no, never, if handed a Siberian husky of this type. I will definitely do whatever it takes to keep such puppy loved. And cry harder, feel more broken-hearted, compared to when I lost “Nami.” Of course, each and every creature is special in his/her own way. So Nami and Miming were certainly irreplaceable. I doubt mom would let us keep a dog. Maybe someday, if I already have a house of my own, I can take care of whatever pets I choose to. :D

If I Were To Time Travel...

Do you ever wonder - “What if I could turn back time?” or “What if I could go back to the past?” What would you do? Where shall you go or on what particular time/event of the past? Would you want to change something? Are you even interested in witnessing the events of the past? Me? Of course! As long as I “can’t” distort history, I’d really want to witness many historical incidents. I will no longer wish to go back in time so I can undo this or that. I know it’s just not fair or something – what’s there to learn if people don’t make mistakes?

All I want to do, if I were given the chance to time travel, is to observe firsthand the occurrences of the past which I’ve never been a part of…

This post is actually a continuation of (or in connection to) my previous post – Into the Time Stream.

So where do I want to go if blasted to the past?

As much as possible, I’d really want to go back to the time when…

·         The World is about to be Created
·         Moses Divided The Red Sea
·         The Ten Commandments Were Made and Presented
·         The Birth/Death of Christ
·         Dinosaurs, and Dragons are still around
·         Nature is at its best
·         Great Pyramids and the Great Wall of China are being Built
·         Troy Fell
·         Greek Mythology is quite… real
·         Cleopatra is still alive... and pretty? Hmmm
·         There’s a big fight/duel in the The Colosseum or Roman Coliseum
·         Construction of Stonehenge in Britain begins
·         The Greeks and Persians are at War
·         Japan/America Colonized Philippines

And so many more... Yep, some events may seem a tragedy or traumatic enough for those who have witnessed it... But because I wasn’t able to experience it myself, I want to find out what it feels like… I am prepared... as long as I’m an invisible spectator... ahahaha :D

Into The Time Stream…

These days, I have found myself getting inclined into reading… again. It’s been a year or so since the last time I read a good thick book, and I miss the feeling. I now get paranoid whenever I’m trying or planning to borrow a book from a friend because of “that” incident; so I’m trying to refrain myself from doing so. Haha. Well, it wasn’t actually my fault why the books I lent got “messed up.” It was the typhoon’s wrath.

I first decided to finish reading Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows; but I ended up going for the Artemis Fowl: The Time Paradox. I have always been fascinated with the Artemis Fowl series. The Time Paradox is the 6th instalment already and so I’m very much excited for the last (two) books. Too bad my friend still doesn’t have it.

About Artemis Fowl: Time Paradox
What sets this series apart is its ability to rise above predictability. The characters in the Artemis series change and grow more complex with each book... This combination of ingenious plot and authentic characters who evolve over time is a pleasure to read and leaves readers begging for more.

Let me use short words to briefly describe what Time Paradox is about… something like these:
Parent. Child. Family. Self. Sacrifice. Deception. Loyalty. Time travel. Friends. Trust. Cunning plots. Comrades. Greed. Kraken. Old Foes. Future. Sarcastic Dwarf. Techie centaur. Brave Elf. Change. Chances. Inner Desires. Time. Fate.

To be continued…

Want To Blog More?

People blog for various reasons; it may be to make money out of their blog, vent out their everyday frustrations, inform readers or to extend their online network. And while most people can blog and do blog, not all is truly able to achieve the real essence of blogging. Perhaps, it depends on your end or motives for blogging.

If you are one of those people who aspire to become gurus in the field of copywriting, web content development, article marketing and the like, then it is a must that you follow certain rules in order to get the results you want. You may need to be aware of the dos and don’ts of blogging and/or copywriting.

Personal bloggers, on the other hand, need not strictly conform to the rules of writing or blogging. If you’re focused on making your blog your online journal, like me for an instance, then perhaps you are not concerned of optimizing your content or entire blog. Nevertheless, some personal bloggers might want to see a number of people subscribing to their feeds, following them on twitter or bookmark their blog site.

If that’s the case, then you should do whatever it takes to persuade more readers. And what’s better way to do that than make your blogging more effective? Write well and write right. Learn from real experts. Research; information is always the key.

Want to learn more? Here are ten simple tips to guide you through your blogging journey:

1. Assess your blog; maybe it’s time to make a change. Both the readers and the search engines love consistent updates and necessary innovations. Don’t settle for anything less.

2. Define your limits. Once you’ve chosen a topic for a particular post, stick to it. If you want to add more, do a continuation or succeeding post relating to it. Don’t squeeze everything in one post when you know it’s already more than enough. Learn how to stop yourself. There’s always another day to post and another blog post to publish.

3. Make your intent obvious. Avoid fluff words and dangling sentences. Clarity is a winner. Furthermore, don’t forget to be consistent and persistent.

4. Connect with the readers. Readers should always come first. Focus on getting their attention by creating something for them – it’s not just about you, it never is. Moreover, make it easy for them – from reading your posts to subscribing or linking back, give convenience. Offering free gifts such as e-books can do wonders.

5. Omit unnecessary words. Be direct to the point. It is wise to be concise.

6. Provide concrete examples, hard facts and shocking truth. Share short stories, anecdotes or quotes from credible authors. If you want to borrow excerpts from other blogs/websites, see to it that you return the favor by linking back or mentioning the source.

7. List, bullet points, analogy, metaphors and simile – they can always lend you a hand. Most readers love bulleted posts or articles in list form – easy to read and digest. Metaphors and simile as well as analogies pave the way for more creative thinking.

8. Ask questions, feel your readers’ pain, give solutions. Know what readers what and need. Your content should be relevant and useful. Explain things in detail.

9. Review your content. Always check for errors. Nothing beats a well-written blog post; thus, make sure that you proofread your work to correct spelling and grammar mistakes. Do not compromise your online reputation.

10. Be interesting, honest and humorous. You don’t have to take things seriously whether you’re blogging for money or not. Inform readers with brutal honesty and witty humor. Make unique and motivating blog posts. NEVER copy other’s content.

I Salute To These Women ^_^

Hi there... Let me share to you some photos of pretty, cool and sexy Women in Uniform; photos of my "favorite" female soldiers (I like their uniforms, their designation, and of course, their beauty) from various countries.

I was able to discover them during one of my boring working days. They make me proud that I'm a woman.. ;) *enjoy :D

They Could Kill You...

However, they may also help you survive a disease as life-threatening as Cancer.

Isn't this amazing? Though it's kind of confusing and hard to believe, I think such creatures deserve more attention than fear itself. Since they're already considered deadly, most people would not even try to go near them. Just the sight of these creatures is more than enough to scare you away.

However, do you know that these deadly wildlife/rainforest creatures can also lend you a hand in times of distress? In fact, they are the favorite subjects of many scientists. Their hidden benefits made it possible to discover conventional means to curing serious diseases. Also, we're being taught to accept our differences. ;)

These are some of the top poisonous creatures that could either kill or cure you:

Scorpions against Brain Cancer

Scorpions would usually use their poison or toxins in order to defend themselves, hunt for their prey as well as drive way rivals when mating. If you accidentally startled a scorpion and it stung you, you might end up dead in an instant or suffer agonizing heart or lung problems.

The good news is, researchers at the University of Alabama at Birmingham have discovered that a scorpion's venom can also be used in cancer treatment, particularly to a form of brain cancer called Glioma.

They found out that the venom of the giant Israeli scorpion is harmless to humans but is certainly deadly to its cockroach prey. They tried to inject a drug derived from the venom into cancer-infected human brains; they soon found out that the poison destroyed the glioma cells only and left the surrounding healthy brain cells unscathed.

Poison Dart Frogs for a Healthy Heart

Poisonous animals or insects usually kill, intentional or not, through fluid secretions such as sweat. As for a poison dart frog, its sweat is not something you should just take for granted. A highly-dangerous neurotoxin called batrachotoxin can ooze from a poison dart frog's pores which will then stop your heart from functioning well. In fact, its poison is used by various tribes in hunting and warfare. It was even considered as a state-of-the-art military technology.

However, such frogs dont directly produce the said toxin or poison. They got it from either the insects they ate that ate poison plants or from the plants itself. So when poison dart frogs have been subjected to experiments, it was found out that the toxin speeds up the heart before putting it to a stop. Thus, patients experiencing cardiac arrest can still be saved once the scientists can successfuly tweak the toxin's elements coming from the frog's sweat. Batrachotoxin is also a potential ingredient in anesthetics.

Lower Blood Pressure with Vipers

Nobody wants to bond with vipers no matter how attractive they look. Although some people like to take care of some snakes, jararaca vipers should be an excemption because they are more venomous than you can ever imagine. This viper's venom works in a unique manner. It prevents blood clotting; thus, a victim is killed after bleeding to death. And this is why scientists suggest using small doses of this viper's venom for cardiac patients. It can prevent or stop arteries from hardening; this way, blood clots can be avoided or remedied.

A synthesized version of jararaca viper venom is a significant ingredient in most of today’s ACE (angiotensin-converting enzyme) inhibitors. ACE inhibitors slow down the enzymes or prevent it from producing peptides which are causing muscle constriction that can set off a chain reaction around blood vessels. This lowers the risk of high blood pressure leading to heart attack and other ailments. ACE inhibitors with the venom of a jararaca viper are now used to treat millions of people with high blood pressure.

Who would've thought that these creatures we usually consider as nothing but deadly and creepy can actually help save human lives? Well, there are always two sides in a coin, as they say. ;)

But honestly, I felt cold while looking into the photos of these creatures. They're still my least favorite creatures, next to spiders. :D

For It Is Only Time...

Once upon a time, there was an island where all the feelings lived: Happiness, Sadness, and all of the others, including Love.

One day it was announced to the feelings that the island would sink, so all repaired their boats and left.

Love was the only one who stayed. Love wanted to persevere until the last possible moment.
When the island was almost sinking, Love decided to ask for help.

Richness was passing by Love in a grand boat. Love said, "Richness, can you take me with you?" Richness answered, "No I can't..There is a lot of gold and silver in my boat. There is no place for you here."

Love decided to ask Vanity, who was also passing by in a beautiful vessel, "Vanity, please help me!" "I can't help you Love. You are all wet and might damage my boat," Vanity answered.

Sadness was close by so Love asked for help, "Sadness let me go with you." "Oh...Love, I am so sad that I need to be by myself!"

Happiness passed by Love too, but she was so happy that she did not even hear when Love called her!

Suddenly, there was a voice, "Come Love, I will take you." It was an elder. Love felt so blessed and overjoyed that he even forgot to ask the elder her name.

When they arrived at dry land, the elder went her own way. Love, realizing how much he owed the elder, asked Knowledge, another elder, "Who helped me?"

"It was Time," Knowledge answered. "Time?" asked Love. "But why did Time help me?

Knowledge smiled with deep wisdom and answered, "Because only Time is capable of understanding how great Love is.

Slashing Thoughts.. :D

Swords, especially a katana, are my most-loved weapon of all. Though guns are pretty convenient, nothing beats the beauty of wielding the best sword ever. And my inclination for swords led me to liking anime and stuff which have something to do with slashing or fighting with the aid of swords. I have come to adore anime like Rurouni Kenshin, Bleach, Claymore and many more. Movie characters having those sharp blades as their main weapon are also the "apple of my eye." I'm even thinking of collecting some  replica swords.. hmmmm.. :D

So let me share to you some interesting, legendary/fantasy-based information with regards to swords:

El Cid Campiador, considered the national hero of Spain, had 2 known swords; the Tizona and the Colada. Both are swords that frighten unworthy opponents if wielded by a brave warrior.

Durendal, a sword that once belonged to Hector of Troy, and was given to Roland; nephew of Charlemagne and hero of the French epic- The Song of Roland. In The Song of Roland, the sword is said to contain within its golden hilt one tooth of Saint Peter, blood of Saint Basil, hair of Saint Denis, and a piece of the raiment of the Blessed Virgin Mary. On the other hand, Joyeuse was the name of Charlemagne's personal sword. Some legends claim that it was forged to contain the Lance of Longinus within its pommel.

Excalibur is the legendary and magical sword of King Arthur. In Welsh, the sword is called Caledfwlch. In the anime Fate/Stay Night, Saber uses the Excalibur. But in the real sense, Saber or sabre is a kind of backsword that usually has a curved, single-edged blade and a rather large hand guard, covering the knuckles of the hand as well as the thumb and forefinger.

Claymores are either two-handed large swords or basket-hilted scottish swords. Claymore is also the title of one of my fave anime/manga. For Claymores, the term is referring to the big swords they wield; but as for the townspeople, Claymores are the soldiers themselves.

Thuan Thiên or Heaven's Will is the Vietnamese equivalent of the Excalibur. As for the Japanese, Kusanagi (grass-cutter) or Kusanagi-no-Tsurugi is their famous legendary sword owned by the God, Susanoo which was later given to his sister, Amaterasu. hmmm.. So this is where Itachi/Sasuke's ultimate techniques came from.. :D

Jian is a double-edged straight Chinese sword. Today, the martial arts called Taijiquan still uses jian swords. However, most jian today areflexible tai-chi or wushu jian; used mainly for ceremonial purposes and not for actual combat.

Xiphos, is a double-edged, single-hand sword used by the ancient Greeks. It was a secondary battlefield weapon for the Greek armies after the spear or javelin.

In Greek mythology, you can take note of the Sword of Peleus, the father of Achilles. There's also the The Sword of Death, a grey sword that can a kill a person if you just cut a lock of their hair off.

When it comes to Japanese swords, the most famous is perhaps the so-called katana. But Katanas vary in size or length and use. Japan's master swordsmith, Masamune, made the famous and considered best weapon called Honjo Masamune.

Kodachi, is a Japanese sword that is too short to be considered a long sword but too long to be a dagger. Aoshi from Samurai X (Rorouni Kenshin) used 2 kodachi. Shiani, is a weapon used for practice and competition in kendo representing a Japanese sword.

I'd like to go on further but I thought of making a post about anime/fantasy characters and their famous weapons; swords to be precise. So see you on my next post.. I hope it really is about what I just told you... lolz

Warning Signs You Shouldn't Ignore

You can find a lot of places displaying various warning signs or "beware posts" to prevent people from doing unnecessary stuff, especially those which can trigger damages or injuries. Warning signs can be usually seen on laboratories or chemical labs, zoos, plants or buildings where huge and dangerous machines are used, even in malls, schools and other places where it is likely for one to get involved with some kind of trouble. Now, are you obedient and wise enough to follow those words of caution? Or maybe you are not inclined into following rules as well as those notices which are actually designed to protect you?

Well, let see if you are bold enough to ignore the following warning signs that I'm going to share to you:

lol. So, enter at your own risk, okay? :P

hahaha.. I really like this one. Sarcastic ones really rule! :D

Well, isnt it right? Be thankful, then. It's worried about you.. ;)

hahah.. For the Win! :D

Somehow, this one is very much called for these days. Talk about hype.. :D

So, need they say more? :P

When Boredom Gets You Down

Are you inclined to getting bored? Do you have that one dull day to live by? Are you sick of locking yourself into your room or being a couch potato in your house whenever you're not up to something or have nowhere to go? Like you're wishing that boring weekends or a "have-nothing-to-do when given a break from work" would never ever come again. Well, let me share to you some things that you can do if you happen to have a day that you dont know how to spend.

I think the list goes down to all those things which you dont normally do. It really pays to do something new from time to time. Doing routines can certainly suck up your life. Besides, these "things to do where you're bored" are also ways to improve yourself. It's like hitting two birds with just one stone. So deal with your boredom by trying any of the following:
  • Read history even if you dont fancy it that much. You'll be surprised on how interesting events were from the past. Or Get to know your ancestors by tracing down your family tree.
  • Go for a walk with a memory box and a camera. Take photos of random things or those which arouse your curiosity. Collect random stuff as you go along the way. And then, make up stories or poems out of it.
  • Have some short talks with various strangers; especially with the old ones who need some company. You can also volunteer in charity works or something like that.
  • Rent movies that you havent seen yet. Or stroll around your neighborhood. And if you have the means, pamper yourself with either a facial or a massage.
  • Try to fly a kite or catch a fish. If you like babies or kids, try babysitting. Visiting either an orphanage or a home for the aged can be so heart-warming and fulfilling.
  • Make your friends or anyone close to your heart special by sending them notes or lists of the things you truly like about them.
  • Maybe it's time to pay attention to your home or room cleaning. See what you can do to efficiently remodel your house. Have a garage sale.
  • Rearrange or paint your room, look for some ideas to reuse or recycle old and unused stuff like old clothes and the like. Not only that you can sharpen your creativity as you can also become productive through reusing or recycling.
  • When it's raining, go out and play with the kids. It's still not too late to splash in the puddle. Play the games you once liked when you were just a kid.
  • Play with your food or anything where you can come up with your own masterpiece. Of course, dont forget to take pictures of it.
  • Or, wake up your dormant creative side. You can draw, write or create something artistic. Make use of the things around you. You dont have to spend much just to show the world that you're talented or creative. Make a scrapbook or try to cross-stitch.
  • Create your own comics or manga; you dont have to be a real artist just to be able to come up with a good story and sketches.
  • And if you still dont have your own blog, try setting up one. You'll be surprise on how you'll get hooked into it and how much time you can past up.
  • Learn how to cook or bake. Experiment. Then, ask your friends to come over. Have a picnic. You can even tape your cooking adventure as if you're a host from a cooking show or something.
Something I found that's really fun:
  • Organize a traveling meal with your friends (works best if you all live close together). Go to House #1 for appetizers, House #2 for salad, House #3 for soup, House #4 for the main course, and House #5 for dessert.
  • You can also try to plant either trees or flowers. Challenge yourself whether you can really make something grow. Discover the wonders of giving life.
Go on an alphabet walk. Pick a letter of the alphabet and find as many things as you can that begin with that letter. Or, try to find something that begins with each letter of the alphabet.
  • Make your own time capsule. Imagine what it would be like in the future. Then write something to those people you think could uncover your time capsule. You can address it to your future wife, or kids maybe. Or something that you want to tell yourself when you're already old or dying. :D
Write down your list in a piece of paper and cut each of them out. Store it in a jar that you're going to label "pick one if bored." And try to accomplish any of these things until you're back to your normal mode.

Where Do You Belong?

Blogging has become a trend nowadays in the world of the Internet. Both young ones and adults blog depending on ther inclination. People blog for various reasons. But whether you blog just to past up time or to make money, there is a classification as to how or why you blog. Bloggers are classified into different types, dependng on the bloggers motives or methods use. People who blog for money are the ones who would usually consider first which type of blogger they should be; others are just unconsciously doing their stuff.

It is important for a so-called blooger to firstly determine what niche he or she should focus on. After that, the blogger can now identfy how he or she should blog. And that's where you can define what type of blogger you are. If you dont specify which category should you take part in, it is likely for you to run out of ideas. So while you dont have any products or service to promote and you simply blog to share information, you still need to set some parameters.

So where do you really belong as a blogger? Do you know the different types of bloggers existing in the blogosphere? Well, let me share to you what I was able to dig:

 1. Personal Bloggers

These people are blogging merely for the love it. They dont care about money-making widgets and other stuff which can greatly promote their blogs. They make posts out of their creative writing skills and various sources of inspiration. They write just about anything under the sun and other things that help them freely express their thoughts and emotion. Mainly, personal bloggers are like storytellers. They also tend to share stuff they got from other sources which have captured their interests. A negative side of blogging personally is that you may tend to rant about unnecessary or offensive issues. You can always express whatever you want to, just in moderation.

2. Bloggers who Discover and Share

Bloggers of this type are the so-called diggers. They can find interesting and even informative stuff which you cant usually find just by stumbling unto something. They are very hard working when it comes to researching bizarre, cool or new things secretly circling around the net. Such discoverers post every contents they can find either with detailed or limited information. They roam around to dig deeper, collect, post or share for everyone to discover. Discovery bloggers love to share fresh ideas on every aspects.

3.  The Educators

These folks put together a lot of informative stuff for anyone on the net to learn from. The materials they gather and post are actually educating and helpful in so many ways. They would even offer downloadable pieces of information as well as free softwares. So if you're looking for how-tos and other stuff which can lend you a hand in enhancing your knowledge and skills, look for this type of bloggers. You can certainly find vast collections of indispensable tools and information.

4. Bloggers who Report or Review

Since most of those who blog to review or report about a particular stuff or products and services are getting paid to do so, they are inclined to step on to other people's business. There are even those who would try to bad-mouth their competitors. But reviewers who provide quality and unbiased information are proven useful, especially for those who seek to purchase something. Blogger reporters submit report regarding certain issues or depending on th niche/category that they're reporting to. It needs real effort and skills to come up with fresh and eye-catching news; thus, being good in this field would somehow promise quality traffic and good reputation.

5. The Money-makers or the Promoters

When you visit the blogs of these people, all you can see are different forms of ads, particularly those intended to generate money from naive surfers. While some money-makes provide good content, most of them would just give you trash after decieving you that they have what you really want. There is always a good chance of you clicking one of their money-generating ads or even links which you think could lead you to something useful but instead, just pure nothing yet money for them. This trick is what annoys many "innocent" surfers. But as for those who know how to pinpoint an ad from the real deal, then it's nothing really to be worried about. As you can see, when it comes to making money online, loads of strategies are out there waiting to be utilized; and it only depends upon your conscience whether you're going for the good ones or not.
