Yeah, really. Indeed, going through the stage of aging is more terrifying than dealing with death itself. Maybe it's because with death, all your pain and suffering would end the moment you lose your life; however, with aging, lots of dilemmas are sure to come your way and worsen your already complicated situation as long as you live. I'm not saying that you should commit suicide the moment you can feel the presence of aging or whenever signs of aging would start to take the best of you. But isnt it amazing if we can actually slow down the process or alter the effects of aging? :D
With aging comes many difficulties and annoyance. From those physical effects like uncontrollable wrinkles or face lines and stuff like that to all the many diseases and causes of immobility that you may suffer from, aging is truly one hell of a phase to go through. Although not all aging people are complaining or having a hard time living with their lives because of their condition, more often than not, old folks are likely to endure moments of desperation due to various reasons and depending on how they used to live their lives while they're still young.
I would easily pity those elders who would walk down the streets or commute on their own. It really pains me to see some old people wandering as if they're lost or something. It's even more heartbreaking to see them beg for alms. Lucky for those aging people who have caring family members and friends. Considering how hard it is to deal with an aging mother or aunt, especially grandparents, I truly salute to those who could make their elderlies happy until the day they die. I just hope that when my aging folks would part from us, there'd be no unfinished businesses, grudges and other issues unsolved. It's even better if they would just die because of an old age than because they're suffering from some kind of an illness.
I know I have a tender, loving and a caring heart; just that, I dont really know how to openly express my feelings particularly when it comes to my family. I may not be that patient and determined, but I know I will do my best to take care of anyone who's going through the stage of aging. I dont want them to suffer as much as I dont want to experience it. Death is inevitable, that I know of. I just hope that before my loved ones would leave me and the rest of the family or friends, or before I part from this world, I'd be able to make them feel how special and loved they are. That even during their darkest hour, especially when having lots of trouble facing aging-related issues, I can be of help to them without making them feel like they're a burden.

Random Realizations...
It's when you age up that you tend to realize
how far have you been gone...
what you actually accomplished...
and if you ever did made the things you need to
and ought to be doing...
It's the time when thoughts of whether you were happy
from all of those years that passed...
whether you were able to satisfy yourself
and of course, those that you care and love the most...
Reality checked and you discovered
that so many things have changed....
from those petty stuffs you indulged yourself in
up to those big decisions that you made...
Now why is it that we...
even though been bugged by these thoughts...
remain to be just the person that we used to be...
we know we must change and its for the better...
but we still tend to hold on
to those that we know
are not just good enough?
So what does it really takes
for us to make a move?
and does the motive of changing
limits only to one's self?
does it not extend to changing
not only the ways of an individual...
but also for the whole humanity itself?
We change for the reason
that we no longer get what we want
by staying just the way we were...
but change is ought not to be the reason
for just satisfying one's needs or wants...
change comes from the thought...
that you do it for the general welfare.
Then when is the best time to make the move?
Is it after we are diagnosed of some serious disease?
we lost a loved one due to our vices and the like?
Or maybe just the time when we feel
that we are no longer living in a world
that was intented for humans?
The time to make a change
doesnt need the "best" timing to make it up.
change can never wait...
It is something for us to do and keep doing.
An effort that we should have done
a very long time ago
up to the very present....
How soon is now?
Change calls for the action...
Are we there yet?!
It's never too late if we start doing it now.
The end is near...
Should we wait for the moment
that all we need is change...
but life doesnt have it...anymore...
